This collection includes very different songs - vigorous, fighting, lyrical, comic. They were collected in different regions of Russia, in some of them long-standing Cossack song traditions are preserved, in others only a few Cossack songs are known. But all these songs still convey the beauty and power of the folk sound and provide an opportunity to feel the living history.
Great percussionists Amir Etemadzadeh and Zaza Korinteli took part in the recording.
